The Purpose of the Association
The purpose of the Association is to express the interests of Almondvalley residents with Perth & Kinross Council officials. Matters covered can be far ranging, from provision of public services, road safety, liaison with local Police Force, bad neighbours, maintenance of roads and public amenity areas, to fair rents and maintenance of properties - in fact any subject for which the Local Authority is responsible to us the public. Often Council officials are requested to attend association meetings to answer questions that have been raised by members, and to advise of services available to us about which we may not be aware. Additionally, representations can be made to our local elected councillor
At intervals of approximately three months, open meetings will be held in St Serfs Church Hall, which all residents are welcome to attend and, if necessary, raise matters which are of concern to themselves and others. The dates of future meetings will be published in the Perthshire Advertiser.
To ensure the success of the Association, we need the support of you, the tenants and homeowners in Almondvalley. You do not have to become actively involved unless you wish to do so, but we ask you to spare a little of your time to attend our meetings, to hear about the subjects raised on your behalf, and express your opinions if you feel so inclined.
